Today has a great importance for every resident of St. Petersburg and the entire World. On the 9th of June 1672 the Great Tsar Peter the First was born. Being the emperor of Russia since 1721, this Muscovite from the Romanov dynasty, formed in the 18th century the main directions of progress and development for the whole country. As the 17-year-old he started ruling the country, he studied gunnery in Prussia, and worked on the shipyards in Holland.
